Letter From the Desert: Sheep Hole Mountains
In 2012 I lived in a house that sat at about 3,300 feet above sea level, just under 40 miles from the Sheep Hole Mountains. Two years later I moved to a place at 2,600 feet in elevation, 30 miles from the Sheep Holes. Last weekend we moved yet again. The new place is 20 miles from the Sheep Hole Mountains, at 1,800 feet above mean sea level.
